Jeff Riley
Drums Jeff's parents bought him a drumset for his sixth birthday, and has been playing ever since. Jeff has played drums as a side project throughout his "other" career as a way to collaborate with really great musicians and express his creativity. Jeff's drumming style has been described as "John Bonham meets Mickey Hart". He has played with Buddy Cage of The New Rider's of The Purple Sage, and Merl Saunders from The Jerry Garcia Band, and was most influenced in his early playing days by Blues, and 60's and 70's Rock. He played for The Knot (a Boston based jam band) in the 90's while living in Boston, and currently plays in several Seattle bands. Jeff is very excited to be invited to play with The Road Dogz this Summer as their new drummer based on a very positive sound coming out of the first few rehearsals with them. Back |
